What’s in your digital teaching toolbox? Do you have the tools you need to reach 21st century learners? Learn how to enhance and enrich the educational experiences of students’ through digital technologies. Then, using the Canvas online learning management system, keep your professional learning going throughout the year at your own pace (and learn all about the advanced features of Canvas by experiencing them as a student). Explore Web-based and other electronic tools, the grammar of the Internet, what it means to be digital information fluent, advanced online search literacy tactics, how to use electronic devices more efficiently. You’ll also learn how to promote digital citizenship and Internet safety as well as topics like Creative Commons licensing, the ins-and-outs of copyright and ‘fair use’ clause, how to leverage the use of social media, produce podcasts, use digital cameras in your classroom, and much more.
